Request Network using Chainlink oracles to enable fiat invoices getting paid in crypto

We are excited to announce that Request has successfully integrated Chainlink, the market-leading decentralized oracle network, to enable crypto payment for invoices denominated in fiat like US dollars or Euros.

By leveraging Chainlink’s widely used Price Feeds, Request is able to offer an automated and decentralized fiat-denominated crypto payment solution with its Request Invoicing app. Now, users have strong assurances that they are receiving a fair amount of crypto assets (such as $ETH or $REQ) at the time of invoice payment.

Crypto-native and non-crypto native companies can now use Request Invoicing to maintain their accounting in fiat currency, both simplifying…

👋 Request enthusiasts,

In April, we asked our users which feature should be built next for Request Invoicing. They voted with REQ tokens on our Snapshot page, and we listened.

Now, the most voted feature is available: batch payment, i.e. mass payment or mass payout.

Businesses can pay multiple recipients simultaneously instead of having to pay every invoice individually.

With batch payment, users save a great deal of time and expense. Paying numerous invoices at once will be cheaper than the sum of each invoice paid separately.

At the moment, batch payment works only with the Gnosis Safe wallet and…

This article aims to provide transparency over Request’s data privacy and to emphasize the importance of our users’ trust to protect their information. You can also review our Privacy Policy here.

We wish to clarify and rectify some of the statements that were miscommunicated about how we collect, process, manage and store our users’ data during our MakerDao community call on April 23rd.

Data accessibility, immutability, transparency, and privacy is always a complex topic while developing blockchain-based services.

At Request, we deal with these topics on a daily basis at two levels:

They’ve been working hard with various partners to bring XSGD support to different applications-and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it.

We’re excited to announce our collaboration with xDai Stable Chain. We integrated our Ethereum-based protocol, the Request Network, with their sidechain solution where block confirmations are fast, and transactions are stable and highly inexpensive. Implementing the xDai Bridge provides fast interoperability between xDai and Ethereum, allowing Request to utilize their xDai token for transactions and convert them into Dai on the Ethereum mainnet. We’ve seen tremendous results in performance with speed and throughput, as well as a 10,000x reduction cost in transaction fees.
